You are always sceptic to find something in your food that is inedible before eating. But it gets even more terrifying when you find a living thing in it because you will lose your appetite on spot. Especially, if you’re a vegetarian.
Sadly, this case was of a 37 year old Vegetarian Shevaughan Tolputt last week. She discovered a tiny alive frog in her in 39p lettuce bought from Aldi. She was very excited to make a nice delicious Salad for her spouse and herself until she got disappointed after seeing that amphibian.
Here’s what went down according to her:
“Something was moving rapidly and it was gawking at me. I called my husband he forced the frog inside a tupperware box.”
“Although the frog and the salad was in the fridge for few hours but it seemed totally fine.”
“I complained to the customer support and they said they will investigate this case. I’m happy I found him and relieved to know that he is somewhere safe.”
“As the salad is not in a proper fixed container, the customer service team is not certain how it got into the merchandize but from now they have promised to be more careful.”
It doesn’t seem like that the creature scared her at all. Is she really a vegetarian?
Customer service said they will monitor the production line in the future. It sounds too good to be true. Aldi is a well-known Supermarket Chain, they rarely makes such mistakes. Fortunately, the Frog has been set free to a local stream and the whole complain was solved. They don’t even need to spend some extra dollars for special monitoring.
